Today BASE launches as the first operator in Belgium a European tariff plan to call, send SMSs and surf at the same price throughout Europe as in Belgium. B-Europe is a clear tariff plan at an attractive price, making it unnecessary for the customer to pay attention whether he is in Belgium or abroad, calling a Belgian or a foreign European number.
“Because we live in the centre of Europe, lots of people have friends and family abroad. Also, Brussels has lots of expats as Brussels is the capital of Europe. That’s why many people go abroad frequently and want to call friends and family in and from everywhere in Europe. Until now, those people always have to watch their mobile usage when they call foreign European numbers or when they cross the border, because they have to pay roaming costs”, says Jos Donvil, CEO of BASE Company. “There was a clear demand from our clients for a tariff plan to stay in touch with their friends and family abroad, wherever in Europe, without the fear of an unpleasant invoice. B-Europe is the ideal tariff plan for frequent travellers, EU-workers, people with family abroad, living at borders of the country, etc. A mid-user can choose the EU-19 or the EU-39, while a heavy caller can choose the EU-99.
