The second “leakage” of today from company’s presentation on January 25 is the Zoe. It’s a clamshell for young people to replace Sony Ericsson Z500, which didn’t come out to the market. The start price for the Zoe will make up some $200 in August. There are two color screens: the internal doesn’t have brilliant specs, just 65K colors, TFT and 128x160 pixels. The device has acquired the support of 3D games (there is no separate accelerator), PTT and a VGA-camera. For the first time the company has extended contact settings with a small video clip to be assigned, in addition to a photo. The phone book has got an additional area called Presence, which is used in IM service. The youth style is expressed in Style-Up panels, attached on front and back sides. The kit includes one extra Style-Up panel. The company has added changing backlight for the keyboard for the first time, the user can chose the color he likes, for example, change blue for red. The Zoe features 40-tones polyphony, which has become traditional for the company recently. The developers tried to make the Zoe the first model supporting 3D SMS, but it hasn’t happened, this function we will see in another model of this class. Naturally, the device supports EDGE.
