NEC announced two new models: the N940, a new cellphone with a built-in television tuner and the N840, a 2 megapixel camera phone.
NEC's N940 is a dualband handset (900/1800MHz) with a built-in television tuner and is also equiped with a VGA quality digital camera with video recorder/playback, and 3X digital zoom function. N940 has a bright 2.1-inch (176x220 pixels and 262,144 colours) touch screen TFT LCD display screen.
Other important specifications included: GPRS, WAP browser, MMS, internal antenna, call vibration, polyphonic ring tone, alarm clock, calendar, calculator, memo, handwriting recognition software, PC sync, photo album, photo editor, wallpaper and games.
