Des que son programme sera termine, ca va cartonner. Il suffit en gros de renseigner correctement son propre numero de tel sur sa carte SIM en utilisant Sim Manager.

Le programme reprend ce numero, il faut egallement renseigner le numero d'un ami (eh oui le voleur il va pas laisser votre casrte SIM dans l'appareil qu'il vient juste de derober, il va la jeter et mettre la sienne)

Et c'est la que tout arrive.

L'introduction d'une autre carte SIM avec un numero de tel different est immediatement detecte, un SMS envoyer a l'ami en question (celui renseigne dans le programme) dans le SMS le numero de tel du voleur, le numero EMEI (au cas ou il l'aurait change, ca c'est plus valable sur un GSM car plus difficile sur un Qtek par exemple)

Il suffit ensuite de renvoyer un SMS avec un texte predefini pour formater a distance le PDA/Phone (ou GSM)

Bref c'est genial, vivement que cela soit effectif.

It works, but someone is testing it right now I will try to get a simple demo out soon to some more testers. Lots and lots of ideas about expansions to this app, full remote control of the phone, with spying facilities.

The release version can be translated into any language.

If someone needs to explain in French, basically:
It protects your SIM. If someone steals your phone and changes SIM, you get alerted.
If you get alerted, you can disable the phone, format it, reset it, hardreset it etc.

If you want to, you can control the phone even if it hasn't been stolen, eg if you leave it on the train, you can wipe it remotely.

Many many other things can be done remotely...
But this software has not been announced yet. It's secret for now!

GreG|WMN: hopefully it will do more than the Symbian versions. Potentially anything you can do with the real phone... and if anyone requests a new "action" (like SoftReset) I will try to build it in.
