      Installation


      The steps to a successful installation are:
      1. Download the POICapture ZIP file and save it on a folder on your PC.
      2. Use the File Explorer to extract the POICapture ZIP file to the root directory of your GO
      3. Rename the tomtom.mnu file in the SdkRegistry directory. If you are installing in a TomTom GO 500 or 700 then you need to rename tomtom.700.mnu to tomtom.mnu otherwise for the GO 300 or GO Classic then you need to rename the tomtom.300.mnu to tomtom.mnu.
      The POICapture.zip file will create the following folders, if the folders do not already exist:
      • /SdkRegistry
      • /POICapture

      The POICapture.zip file will then place the following files into the following folders:

      /SdkRegistry
      POICapture.bmp
      POICapture.cap
      TomTom.mnu
      The TomTom.mnu is a custom menu for TomTom. The POI Capture TomTom.mnu is based closely on the standard menu. In the POI Capture TomTom.mnu, there is an extra (fourth) page in the main menu. The TomTom Traffic icon on page one has been replaced with the POI Capture icon. The fourth page has the TomTom Traffic icon and other useful icons.

      NB if you are already using a custom menu, the installation process for POI Capture will not over write it, i.e. this only installs if no TomTom.mnu exists. So if you want it, make sure that you erase the existing one TomTom.mnu.

      /POICapture
      PocketGPScameras.bmp
      POICapture.exe

      en bref si les répertoires n'existe pas créé les.

      Fait toujours un backup des fihciers remplacés avant de faire quoi que ce soit

      Moi je suis en version 6.xx sur un tomtom ONE et bien ca n'a pas fonctionné pour moi, j'ai donc remis le fichier original et supprimé les répertoires créés

          Tourne sans problème sur mon Mio 168 et l'Acer n35 de ma femme, sous TTN6 tous les deux...
